Before you start
- Active Housecall Pro account (Essentials, MAX, or higher)
- Owner or Admin role on the HCP account (needed to authorize the API connection)
- Job Types and Service Items configured for the work you want bookable
- Employees set up with working hours, time zones, and service areas
- A list of the Job Types you want to expose on your website
Step 1 · Map your Job Types to bookable services
Peach books jobs into HCP using your existing Job Types — no parallel taxonomy to maintain. Spend ten minutes auditing your Job Types before you connect; this is the single biggest predictor of a clean go-live.
- 1In HCP, go to Settings → Job Types.
- 2Confirm each bookable Job Type has a default duration that reflects reality (drain clog ≠ AC install).
- 3Make sure the Job Type is mapped to the right Service Items so the Estimate auto-populates correctly.
- 4Tag which Job Types should appear on which web pages (HVAC repair on the AC repair page, drain clog on the plumbing page, etc.).
Step 2 · Connect Peach via the Housecall Pro API
Peach is integrated with the official Housecall Pro Public API. Your onboarding contact will share a one-click authorization link — you log in to HCP, approve the connection, and the integration is live.
- 1Open the connect link from your Peach onboarding contact.
- 2Log in to Housecall Pro with an Owner or Admin account.
- 3Review the requested scopes: read/write on Customers, Jobs, Estimates, and Employees; read on Schedule and Pricebook.
- 4Click Authorize. Peach is now reading your team, service areas, and Pricebook in real time.
- 5Confirm in the Peach dashboard that your employees and territories appear within 60 seconds.
Step 3 · Configure availability and routing
The Peach booking form shows live slot availability based on what HCP knows. To make this clean, your dispatch board needs to be the source of truth.
- Confirm every active employee's working hours, time zone, and service area in HCP.
- Block off non-working time as scheduled non-job events so Peach respects them.
- Set buffer times on Job Types where back-to-back bookings cause problems (long-driving service zones, install jobs).
- Decide which evening or weekend windows to surface — most HCP operators show one or two evening slots and capture 25–30% after-hours bookings.
Step 4 · Turn on missed-call recapture
On Housecall Pro accounts, missed-call recapture pays for the platform on its own at most operators. The setup is small and the ROI is large.

Step 5 · Push booked jobs to Google Ads and Meta

Once Peach is creating real HCP jobs from your website and inbound calls, we push every booked job back to Google Ads as an offline conversion and to Meta via the Conversion API. Step 6 · Drop the booking form on your site
The Peach popup is a single script tag. It auto-binds to any element with the class .peach-booking-trigger, so any CTA on your site can open the booking flow.

- Submit a test booking via the form. Confirm a real HCP job is created with the right Job Type, Customer, and assigned employee.
- Send a test after-hours call to your forwarded number. Confirm the recapture SMS converts the lead into a real HCP job.
- Verify Google Ads → Conversions shows the new 'Peach: Booked Job' event recording.
- Verify Meta Events Manager shows the server-side 'Booked Job' event with a value attached.
